Honey Garlic Shrimp Bowls

  • 1 lb peeled deveined shrimp
  • 1/3 cup local honey
  • 1/4 cup low sodium soy sauce
  • 4 large cloves garlic minced
  • 2 to 3 cups cooked rice
  • 1/2 cup shredded carrots
  • 3 cups frozen broccoli florets
  • 1/2 tbsp Cooking With Greens No salt Herb Blend
  • 2 tbsp olive oil

In a bowl, whisk honey, soy sauce and garlic. In a ziplock bag, add shrimp and about 1/4 of of sauce to bag. Place in refrigerator to marinate for at least 20 minutes or up to 8 hours. Add 1 tbsp olive oil to hot pan. Add carrot and cook for 3 minutes. Add thawed broccoli and Herb Blend. Cook until Broccoli is heated through. Remove from heat. In same pan, add remaining olive oil and marinated shrimp without marinade. Cook on each side until shrimp is done and browned. Immediately add remaining 3/4 of the sauce. allow to slightly reduce. and remove from heat. Assemble bowls by adding rice, broccoli/carrot mixture and Shrimp to bowl. Drizzle with pan sauce. Garnish with minced green onion and sesame seeds
