Orange Cake

  • Juice of 3 fresh oranges
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 cup of vegetable oil
  • 2 1/2 cups of flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • Grated peel of 1 orange

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. In a large bowl, beat the two eggs with the vanilla and the grated orange peel. Add the sugar and continue to beat. Add the vegetable oil and orange juice. Add in flour and baking powder and continue to beat.
  2. Pour the mixture into a cake mold or cake panand bake for 45 minutes.
  3. Remove from oven and serve.
