Vegan Pulled "Pork" and Sauce

  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp Cooking With Greens No Salt Onion black pepper blend
  • 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp liquid smoke
  • 1 tbsp smoked paprika
  • 3 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 8 King Oyster mushrooms ( or regular oyster mushrooms with stems) or 1 20 oz can of young jackfruit drained, and rinsed
  • 1/4 sweet onion sliced
  • 1 tsp olive oil
If using canned jackfruit, boil in water for 12 minutes and drain. With a fork, shred stalks of mushrooms or jackfruit into a pork like consistency.  Toss in all remaining ingredients except barbecue sauce. Set aside. Add olive oil and onions to a heated nonstick saucepan or cast iron skillet. Cook until caramelized. Add Mushroom mixture. Cook until lightly browning. Add barbecue sauce and cook until well combined. Serve.
  • 3 tbsp barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 tsp ground mustard
  • 1 tsp apple cider vinegar
  • OPTIONAL : 1/4 tsp horseradish
Whisk and serve.
