    Ingredients

    For the Sandwich

    • 9 slices bread
    • 3 slices deli turkey
    • 3 slices deli ham
    • 3 slices American cheese
    • 3 slices Swiss or provolone cheese
    • Honey mustard (or your preferred mustard)

    For the Batter

    • 1 egg
    • 1–1 1⁄4 cups water
    • 3/4 tsp Cooking with Greens Pink Himalayan Seasoning Blend
    • 1 tsp sugar
    • 1 1⁄2 cups flour
    • 1 Tbsp baking powder
    • Vegetable oil (for deep frying)
    • Powdered sugar, for serving
    • Raspberry jam, for serving

    Instructions

    1. Assemble the sandwiches:
      • Place turkey and Swiss or provolone cheese on one slice of bread.
      • Place ham and American cheese on a second slice.
      • Spread honey mustard on both sides of a third slice and place in between the turkey and ham layers to create a triple-decker sandwich.
      • Secure the sandwich corners with toothpicks. Press flat and wrap in plastic wrap; refrigerate overnight for best results.
    2. Prepare the batter:
      • In a mixing bowl, beat egg and water together.
      • Add Pink Himalayan Seasoning Blend, sugar, flour, and baking powder. Beat until batter is smooth.
    3. Dip and fry:
      • Dip each sandwich in the batter, making sure all sides are coated.
      • Carefully place in hot oil and fry until golden brown on all sides.
      • Remove from oil and drain on paper towels. Let cool for a few minutes.
    4. Finish and serve:
      • Remove toothpicks. Slice sandwich into fourths.
      • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with raspberry jam.
