Cheeseburger Bombs

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion chopped small
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1/2 tbsp Cooking with Greens Spice Umami blend
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 Tbsp  sugar
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheese
  • 1 to 1 1/2 cans of canned biscuits
  • 3/4 stick butter
  • 2 tbsp Cooking with Greens Go To Blend
  • 1 1/2 tsp brown sugar
  • sesame seeds
  • minced parsley

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. In a large skillet, add about 1 tbsp olive oil and  combine ground beef, garlic Umami blend, and onion. Cook until beef is browned and onion is slightly translucent. Add in tomato paste, umami blend and sugar. Add 1/2 cup shredded cheese and allow to cool. Spray a round nonstick baking pan with oil. Cut biscuit dough in half and flatten into a round circle. Place a small amount of the meat mixture, topped shredded cheese. Pinch ends closed around the filling and roll in your palm into a ball. Place in the pan and repeat until pan is filled. In a small microvave safe bowl, melt butter, Go to blend, parsley and brown sugar. Brush butter mixture over burger bombs and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Place in oven to bake for about 15 to 20 mins. Once bombs start to brown, rebrush on butter mixture and return to oven.. Once done, remove from oven and serve with dips (ranch, honey sriracha, ketchup, thousand island, etc)
