Garlic shrimp in creamy tomato sauce

  • 1 lb shrimp peeled cleaned and deveined
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1 onion diced
  • 6 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 14oz bottle of tomato sauce 
  • 3/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup Moscato
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley
  • 10 cherry tomatoes halved
  • 1 tbsp Cooking with Greens BBQ Tomato Blend
  • a pinch of sugar
  • 2 tsp Cooking with Greens No Salt Italian Blend
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt and pepper to taste.

In a large skillet, melt butter. Add onion and cook until softened. Add garlic. cook for 2 minutes. Add Moscato. Cook for an additional 3 minutes. Add Shrimp. Cook until no longer raw. Remove shrimp and set aside. Add Tomato sauce and cherry tomatoes. Bring to simmer. Add Seasonings. and parsley. Stir in Heavy cream. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring often. Stir in Parmesan cheese and shrimp. Taste and reseason if necessary. Serve over pasta.
