Honey Butter Fried Turkey Wings (Crispy, Sweet & Savory, Southern-Style)

  • These Honey Butter Fried Turkey Wings are crispy, juicy, and glazed with a sweet and savory honey butter sauce—a must-try comfort food for any occasion!

    Introduction

Honey Butter Fried Turkey Wings are the ultimate Southern comfort food—crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and tossed in a luscious honey butter glaze. Perfect for Sunday dinner, holidays, or anytime you want to treat your family to something special, these wings are sure to become a favorite at your table.

    Ingredients

    • 4–6 turkey wings, separated at the joint
    • 2 Tbsp Cooking with Greens Go To Blend (or salt and pepper, to taste)
    • 1 Tbsp paprika
    • 1 Tbsp garlic powder
    • 1 cup all-purpose flour (for dredging)
    • Oil, for frying

    For the Honey Butter Glaze

    • 4 Tbsp butter
    • 1/3 cup honey
    • 1 Tbsp hot sauce (optional, for a spicy kick)
    • 1 tsp Cooking with Greens Go To Blend (or salt, to taste)

    Instructions

    1. Season turkey wings with Go To Blend, paprika, and garlic powder. Let sit for at least 30 minutes (or overnight for deeper flavor).
    2. Dredge wings in flour, coating well and shaking off excess.
    3. Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C).
    4. Fry wings in batches for 10–15 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on a wire rack or paper towels.
    5. Make the glaze: In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in honey, hot sauce (if using), and Go To Blend until smooth and warmed through.
    6. Toss fried wings in the honey butter glaze until well coated.
    7. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley or green onions if desired.

    Tips & Variations

    • For extra crispiness, double-dredge the wings (dip in flour, then egg, then flour again).
    • Add a splash of lemon juice to the glaze for brightness.
    • Try with chicken wings if turkey wings aren’t available.
