Pork Stir Fry

  • 1/3 cup Hoisin sauce
  • 3 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp rice vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1/4 tbsp (or more) crushed red pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 carrot julienned
  • 3 stalks green onion diced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 2 tsp pink himalayan sea salt
  • 1 tsp crushed black pepper
  • 1 lb thin cut boneless pork or chicken sliced into thin strips
  • vegetable oil
  • rice noodles
In a bowl, whisk together hoisin sauce, soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil and red pepper. In another bowl, season pork strips with salt and pepper and 1/4 of the sauce mixture. Set aside for 10 to 15 mins to marinate. Add 2 tbsp oil in a large saucepan or wok and stir fry pork pieces until done. set aside. In same pan, cook vegetables in 1 tbsp of oil. Add in remaining sauce and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Toss in meat and prepared rice noodles. Serve.
