Anita's Hush Puppies

  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 3/4 cup cornmeal
  • 1.5 tbsp Sugar
  • 2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1 tbsp melted butter
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tbsp chopped onion
  • 1 stalk green onion diced
  • 1 tbsp Cooking with Greens Spicy Seafood blend
  • 1/8 tsp Cooking with Greens Pink himalayan Sea salt

Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet and spoon or scoop (with a melon baller) hush puppies into pan. Oil should reach halfway up balls. Cook until browned, turn and brown other side. Serve.
