Anita's Hush Puppies
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup cornmeal
- 1.5 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tsp Baking powder
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 egg beaten
- 2 tbsp chopped onion
- 1 stalk green onion diced
- 1 tbsp Cooking with Greens Spicy Seafood blend
- 1/8 tsp Cooking with Greens Pink himalayan Sea salt
Mix all ingredients in a large bowl. Heat cooking oil in a large skillet and spoon or scoop (with a melon baller) hush puppies into pan. Oil should reach halfway up balls. Cook until browned, turn and brown other side. Serve.
