Easy Peach Cobbler 2

  • 1 15 oz can of sliced peaches in heavy syrup
  • 3 tbsp sweet cream butter
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 1/4 cup of heavy cream
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp vanilla 

Heat oven to 375 degrees. Cut butter into smaller pieces and place in bottom of small baking dish or 2 large ramekins. Place in oven until butter melts. In a small bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, sugar and 1 tsp cinnamon. Slowly mix in heavy cream and milk until combined. Spread dough mixture evenly across the top of the melted butter. In a separate bowl, mix canned peaches in syrup with remaining cinnamon and vanilla. Pour peaches and syrup over the batter layer. bake in oven for 20 minutes, or until crust has slightly browned. Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
