Honey Soy Garlic Shrimp Bowl

  • 1 lb Jumbo Shrimp peeled and deveined
  • 2/3 cup Honey
  • 6-8 cloves minced garlic
  • 1 cup Low Sodium soy sauce
  • 1/4 tsp ground ginger
  • sesame seeds
  • Chopped green onion
  • cooked White Rice 
  • 1 cup fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 qts water
  • 1 Tbsp Cooking with Greens Pink Himayan Sea Salt
  • Ice

 Place shrimp, honey, garlic, soy sauce and ginger in a large bowl. Toss and allow to marinate 15 to 20 minutes. Blanche broccoli florets by boiling water and sea salt in a large pot. Add in florets and cook for about 4 minutes.  Pour out half the water and immediately add ice to pot to stop cooking process. Set aside. In a large saucepan, add shrimp and cook for 3 to 5 total minutes on both sides, or until done. Shrimp and garlic should have a slight caramelization. Remove from pan. Pour remaining marinade in pan and allow to simmer, stirring often, until sauce is reduced. Plate by adding rice and broccoli in bowl. Top with shrimp, chopped green onion and sesame seeds. Drizzle marinade reduction over bowl. Serve.
