Sausage Cream Corn

  • 2 cans sweet corn drained
  • 1/2 lb sweet Italian sausage meat
  • 1/2 sweet onion chopped
  • 1 small shallot chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic minced
  • 1 tbsp Cooking With Greens Maple Bacon Blend
  • 1 cup chopped green onion
  • 1/2 cup shaved Parmagiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tbsp sweet cream butter
  • 1/2 tbsp olive oil

Heat sausage meat in large pan. Cook until browned. With a slotted spoon, remove sausage meat, leaving remaining oil. Add olive oil to pan, onion, shallot and garlic. cook until onion is slightly brown. Add Corn to pan. Cook for 4 minutes. Add Maple Bacon blend, green onion and sausage to pan. Cook for 2 minutes. Add in sweet cream. Cook for about 4 minutes and sprinkle in Parmagiano Reggiano. Taste and reseason if necessary.
