Chef Toya's Portobello Mushroom "Cheese-steak"

  • Portobello Mushroom ( use 1- 1&1/2 per sandwich depending on your desired fullness)
  • sweet onion
  • bell pepper ( I used yellow)
  • virgin olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon of red wine vinegar
  • Worcesestire sauce
  • black pepper
  • garlic powder
  • sea salt for seasoning
  • 1-2 tablespoons of vegetable broth
  • hoagie bread

additional options:

veganaise, red pepper flakes, and daiya cheese.
