Quick Orange Honey Rolls

  • I Package dry yeast
  • 1/2 cup warm orange juice
  • 1/4 cup warm water
  • 1.5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp orange zest
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1/2 tsp Cooking with Greens Pink Himalayan Sea salt
  • 2.5 cups flour


  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 tbsp plant based butter
  • 2 tbsp orange juice
  • 2 tbsp honey

Dissolve yeast in warm water and orange juice . Whisk in sugar, oil, salt and egg. Add 1 cup flour and stir until smooth. Cover. Place in warm spot over a bowl of hot water. Let rise 15 minutes. While dough is rising, heat ingredients for glaze. Bring to boil. Pour mixture into a 9x9 baking pan. Stir dough and add remaining flour. Knead 3 minutes. Pull of pieces of dough and shape into 16 same sized balls. Place balls in baking dish and roll them around in the glaze mixture. Cover with a cloth and place pan on a rack over another bowl of very hot water. Let rise 25 minutes. Heat oven to 425 and bake for 12 minutes. Serve immediately.
